新西兰塔拉那基华联会

 

历史：

新西兰塔拉那基华联会于1996年注册成立。

自成立之后，本会坚持的宗旨与目标是提倡发展中国文化及语言，使华人有所得益。同时也发展青少年各方面的才能。

 

结构：

本会执行委员会由会长，副会长，秘书，财务及数位委员组成。本会会长是发言人及本会代表。

 

目标与宗旨：

本会的目标与宗旨如下：

1 辅佐华人联谊及娱乐活动

2 推广华人文化与教育共识

3 争取华人福利

4 辅助推广中文教育

5 提供会员聚会场所

6 本会不参与政治及宗教活动

 

活动：

本会每年有多项活动：

1一年一度的华裔子女奖学金

2 一年一度的十八岁至二十八岁青年领袖论坛

3 两年一届的青少年领袖夏令营

4 周年大会

5 提倡中国语言及文化，举办国语班

6 举行春节，中秋节庆祝活动

7 辅助新移民各方面的需要

TARANAKI BRANCH, NEW ZEALAND CHINESE ASSOCIATIONS INC

 

HISTORY

TARANAKI BRANCH, NEW ZEALAND CHINESE ASSOCIATIONS INC was incorporated and registered in 1996.

Since it was first established, the aim and objective of the NZCA are orientated towards the maintenance of Chinese language and culture, promoting leadership and youth development.

 

STRUCTURE

NZCA Taranaki Branch is managed by a committee comprising of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and a few other committee members. The President is the official spokesperson for the NZCA Taranaki Branch.

 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the NZCA Taranaki Branch as outlined in its Constitution are：

1 To provide Taranaki Chinese the means of mutual assistance, social interchange and recreation

2 To unite and cooperate for cultural and educational purpose

3 To deal with matters concerning the welfare of Chinese in Taranaki

4 To assist in establishing Chinese language schools and classes in Taranaki

5 To provide facilities for members to meet

6 To be and remain non-political and non-religious

 

ACTIVITIES

Several important events are organized. These include：

1 Annual scholarships and prizes for young New Zealand Chinese high academic achievers

2 Annual Leadership Development Conference for 18-28 years old members

3 Biennial Youth Leadership Camp for 14-17 years old members

4 Annual General Meeting

5 Maintenance of Chinese language and culture, running Chinese language school

6 Celebrating Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival

7 Assisting new Chinese migrants in their social needs
